Product Description
From the Winery:
“La Narassa” is sourced from the famed black schist soils of the Agly valley in the northern Roussillon near the village of Maury. It is made in a semi-ripasso style by harvesting the Grenache in successive passes picking only the ripest clusters. In the cellar, the fruit is de-stemmed and only the best berries are chosen for fermentation after a short pre-fermentation maceration. The Domaine Lafage Lieu Dit La Narassa is seductively delicious and deeply flavorful. It’s got dark, rich fruit, some earthiness and chocolate, nice tannins, and especially, a smoothness which rolls across the tongue so effortlessly, you’ll find it hard to stop at just one or two glasses. Drink it alone, with cured meats, hearty pasta dishes, grilled and roasted meats and vegetables, and much more. We dare you not to love it.
