Study materials available for pick up from The Wine House (2311 Cotner Ave, Los Angeles) as soon as you receive a confirmation email of your registration. It is advisable to pick up the materials and begin reading the textbook before the first class at Wellesley Courtyard on Saturday, May 18, 2024. There is free parking in the building.
The Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Award in Wines course is intended as vocational training in product knowledge for those employed in the drinks industry but who have little previous knowledge of the broad range of alcoholic beverages available. The qualification is suitable wherever a good level of product knowledge is required to underpin job skills and competencies. The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines course is also appropriate for those not employed in the drinks industry but who want a serious education in wine, and wish to broaden their knowledge in a structured way. Wine tasting is a part of every class. The WSET recommends that students complete at least 14 hours of personal study outside the classroom hours during their course of study. The 4-week duration of this course allows students ample time to prepare for the exam.

Three days of in-person instruction, including tasting of over 35 wines, with exam on at the end of the third class on Saturday, June 15, 2024

Individual class or exam dates are not transferable to another course offering or to another person. This class must reach a minimum number of enrollees to proceed.
